Essex Yeomanry & 191st (Herts. & Essex Yeomanry) Field Regiment R.A.

These are World War Two memories of the Essex Yeomanry and the 191st (Herts. and Essex Yeomanry) Field Regiment R.A., as recalled by Felix Roland Johnson (1917-2013). Felix Johnson wrote his autobiography in 1994 and these recollections are taken from the 6+ years of Army Service chapters. These few chapters also contain photographs, ephemera & keepsakes that Felix Johnson accumulated over those years. In 1944, Felix landed on a Normandy beach on ‘D’-Day+3 and it is fitting to place these memories on the internet, during the 75th Anniversary year of that Allied wartime operation.
